Toryn Black Design makes objects for everyday use - serving trays, end-grain cutting boards, charcuterie boards, tea light holders, wall mirrors, keepsake boxes, and wall cabinets.
These handmade objects play with symbols of the moon, eclipse cycles, and star patterns. Using the natural graphics of the wood, the contrast of sapwood and heartwood as design elements to explore themes of contrast and transformation.
